Matthew Cooke

Matthew Cooke began his real estate career when he joined The Staubach Company as an Associate in 2007, which was acquired by Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE: JLL) in 2008. Matthew was quickly promoted several times, ultimately to Senior Vice President in 2011. Then, in May 2012, he was again promoted to the role of Raleigh-Durham Market Director. At that time, he was the youngest JLL Market Director in the United States. Matthew joined Davis Moore in December 2013 as a Principal and has been tasked with leading and expanding the Corporate Advisory Services Division.
Over the course of his ten (10) year real estate career, he has received regional and national recognition as a top producing broker, and has built an impressive client list of internationally recognized companies as well as local start-ups. He has consistently been recognized as a leader in the North Carolina commercial real estate industry, and has served on the board of the Triangle Area Office Building Association (TRAOBA) and the Advisory Board of KARNES Research.
Matthew is very involved in the local community and has served on the board and advisory board of several non-profit organizations including Entrepreneurs Organization, Band Together, and the American Heart Association Raleigh Chapter.

Originally from Wilmington, NC, Matthew attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduating from UNC in 2002 with a BA in History, Matthew lived in Washington, DC until 2006, working in government affairs, consulting and business development. He has completed Executive Education at the Harvard Business School and UNC Kenan Flagler Business School, and has completed training at The Leadership Trust. He is also an Eagle Scout and a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS).
Matthew lives in Raleigh with his wife, Elizabeth, and their young sons Whit and Harris.
